always to know there's a few poultry (!) lovers around! used to have a large flock before situation changed and had to get rid, lately looking at getting some bantams, possibly yokohamas.

Cock-a-doodle-do

Why why why I say boy, I chased them round the garden til they were dizzy

I think you will now know the obvious answer as to why the chicken crossed the road.

most fundamental aspects

I had 3 ex batts who were never that healthy from the day I got them. One by one they died off but at least their retirement allowed them to enjoy grass and space.

Bought two young birds earlier this year as replacements and within a couple of weeks they began laying. Not missed a day since April and some days even get a double yoker. Delicious eggs with food mileage of 50ft.

They greet me every morning but I drew the line at them pecking my bedroom window at 4am in the summer and now have an area fenced off where I can sit outside without the obvious mess on the ground

no matter

I had chickens and ducks before I got the parrots.. They were all very tame and would just wander into the kitchen when door was open. The ducks loved the downstairs shower room ..
