Manchester (he/him)

I won’t call them guilty pleasures, as there’s no guilt felt (by me at least) maybe a touch of schadenfreude for others though.

What do you secretly enjoy that others might not know about you?

Share them here, if you’re not too ashamed!

I make home made wine, beer and bake bread. There’s something about making stuff from scratch that really speaks to my soul.

I know that won't come as a surprise to you though.

I love building models. Lego, airfix etc. I just go into a totally different place and get lost for hours when I make them. On the back burner though as I build the house. Caravans a bit cramped for the smell of glue hahaha

Reading journals. Mostly medical journals (I've such a morbid curiosity about the human body and its dysfunctions), but anything that's a bit geeky is fair game. I'm currently reading an article on the factories of the future in the September/October edition of Maintenance and Engineering.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I think I am missing passions - secret, guilty, sexual, out and proud ones are all missing at the moment.

However, I am quietly content and enjoying taking a break from my desk at 3pm for Escape to the Country.

We had our wedding pics taken on Ironbridge. There’s lots of houses up steep steps there but it’s a conservation area so limited options on doing house up. The house is still for sale. T grew up there. Bridgnorth is lovely too. I loved the house she lost but yes she shouldn’t have hesitated.
