Always pretend.

Not just because of fire hazards with real trees , but because I don't particularly like their smell engulfing my living room.

We have faux but thinking of getting a nice real one for the front garden too this year and praying it doesn't get pinched

Got to be real. I've also moved house this year into one with 11foot ceilings, so I'm going to go bigger than ever before

I have a fakie from Balsam Hill, which I’ve had for years. I got a real tree a few years back and it rotted. I just couldn’t cope with that smell again. In my experience anyway, the nice fresh pine needle smell just doesn’t last.

And real Christmas trees should be left in the ground to help deal with this carbon cluster fuck whereas plastic trees should be banned to assist with same.

The feastive season should be limited to a long weekend and that’s it!
