My Christmas officially starts when I hear "The fairytale of New York".

That's the only song that counts for me.

We were in M&S last weekend and they were playing Christmas music then. I commented it was too early but found myself singing along to it lol.

I’m the same with Red Water Christmas Mourning.

I heard that pretenders one years ago in Bradford bus station and I remember it feeling really nice. Weird that

I asked because one of my better friends believes it is November 1st and I politely told them to “get lost” although they were not the words I used!

Whamageddon doesn't start until December 1st. You can listen with impunity until then!

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

I’m more of a 12 days of Christmas person (the dates not the song), so Xmas Eve to 6th jan for me for Xmas songs.

Fairytale of New York can be played all year round though

I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas tbh, but I don’t mind the odd Christmas tune at any time of the year, it’s just music! Love songs don’t just get played around Valentine’s Day or weddings do they! If I like it I’ll listen to it any time! Am I weird? Haha, Miss pc
