November Nails

Usual monthly check up girls! How are you nails

Looking and have you planned anything nice for them for this November?

I personally committed the ultimate sin by being an impatient bitch and out of frustration I ripped off my shellac myself and sort of wrecked my cuticles and nails .

I’ve let them be for a few days and now I’ve done a black that looks kinda green in the sun .. and I look like a bad bitch so I’m happy

I feel like I’m asking 110% from my nails and I know they personally hate me

But what can a bitch do, right???

Last month I peeled off my acrylics which was the worst thing to do. My nails were thinner than a risla paper. Had acrylics again but they’ll be coming off soon (properly). Need my own nails for wrapping Xmas presents especially using sellotape!

I totally get it! My nails were fucked and they are pretty sturdy. Who the fuck has the patients to go through the whole bath in acetone with the foil and shit!

I had super-bright red gel added to my french acrylics for a Halloween party on Saturday but nipped in to have them back to french this morning. Just felt wayyyy too extra in red

I’ve picked them off in frustration sometimes too especially when the world first went covid-mad and I couldn’t get them done … it absolutely murrrdered but I was so glad I’d got them off because kept catching in my hair . Fingers felt ew and stumpy till I got used to them being off

I love mine french though feel naked without them lol but I have wine country sometimes too - very dark red - when it’s getting colder usually … like very soon then

Your last two sentences genuinely had me snort-laughing xx

Trying to get them to grow so leaving them colour free and using cuticle oil and nail strengthener thingy. Soon it will be time for party season nails!

My nail technician files the gel off my nails, always leaving a little bit (the clear bit) covering most of the nails. This helps the health of the nails

Green to match my Hell Bunny outfit I had on yesterday, Nails Inc vegan range as it has no resin in (which I am allergic to) so no fancy nails for me

I'm sure I will change the colour back to red in the coming weeks.

I’ve got red shellacs at the moment, but they’re wrecked so I’m changing them for a date at the weekend.

I reckon I’ll go sparkly black.

It’s a shame, as I love red for a date, but can’t bring myself to get the same colour twice.

Literally if they could file for a restraint order, I’m sure they would because it’s criminal what I do to them every 2/3 weeks

And I LOVE a good French, it’s super classy and very pretty! I really should get it done at some point as haven’t done it in ages!!

Normally paint my own.

I’m giving my finger nails air at the moment. Haven’t had them coloured for weeks.

Changed my toe nails from a warm pink (they were like that forever) to burgundy red !!!!

Had to touch up my black/ dark petrol green nails as they started to chip on me

I paint my own nails once or twice a week depending on how they are holding up. This month will go between red, dark green or navy depending what I wear to work each day. I used to get acrylics done but I like to colour match to what I wear so back to doing my own

Have thought of it a few times but I might wear green one day and red the next so I just sit and do them with regular polish each night before work find it kinda therapeutic sometimes, other times I’m cursing that I have to do them

Very nice!!! I was kinda wondering if white is too summery but I suppose I can ask for a cold-ish undertone to make it wintery

My nails are great, neat and tidy, not too long not too short and looking healthy

I like having healthy nails so thats why i dont bite them and keep them groomed, especially for when i whip out the black nail polish
