Seaforth

Your at a non swingers club. You see a girl, visually she ticks all your boxes. You start chatting. Things seem to be going very well. She leans over and whispers "I'm post op trans". How would you react?

Exactly the same way I would be with a cis woman.

If things went well then maybe at some point talk about her journey if she wanted to but other than that she is a normal woman and should be treated as such.

The same as any other woman, ask her your place, mine or anywhere she wants it

I would probably have lots of questions and hope I wouldn't offend her with any clumsy ones.

Should this happen I would be very thankful for her honesty. Things obviously would not go any further but if she does not mind we could continue having a conversation.

Unless they want to talk about it I'd just reassure them I'm not transphobic, I guess?

I remember an episode of the IT crowd which was centred around this sort of "predicament"; I just never got it personally. Why would it matter?

I’d hope most people would react by acknowledging her honesty and either carry on chatting with the possibility it would lead on to something more, or politely make your exit because it’s something you’re not comfortable with.

She’s a human being, so deserving of respect and decency.

Exactly this

Manners cost nothing, she gave you the respect to tell you, show her the same respect in return

Whoo hoo! It's not a problem for me as I have dated several pre-op trans girls. Just meet them and see how it goes.

You rarely need to ask as they will tell you in their own time. I am talking from experience.

This. I once had a (regular) date (two actually) with a gorgeous ex athlete who had 1 forearm missing. I just ignored that, in the thought of just accepting it was best, and not trying to ask her questions she’d probably answered a hundred times. But since, I’ve often wondered if I did the right thing not being openly (but respectably) curious.

I don’t know much about Trans matters, but if the above scenario played out, I hope I’d know a lot more one way or the other by the following morning
