Not stopped all morning! Just got home, switched the kettle on and nothing… power’s off

Back to bed to keep warm I think!

Sounds like a plan. I’m not far from Preston and thankfully our power is still on, but the roads are all flooded instead

As long as there's charge in your phone at least you won't get bored! Hope the power is restored soon and that you're not one of those unfortunate enough to be affected more severely by the floods.

have you checked your neighbours are the same ?? have you checked your fuse box in case it has tripped out and just needs to be switched back on all switched up and if 1 is down flick it back up,,, if you have gas boil some water in a pan for a cuppa and maybe fill a hot water bottle if people have them still,, i do ,,,

I reported it and it’s due to damage to an underground cable. We don’t have gas but at least I’ll have d*unk more water today, which I’m really bad at normally!
