In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I need a hobby. Something to occupy my time between work and obviously all the crazy naked sex time

Otherwise known as avoiding work and no sex cos I don't do that.

So gimme some ideas please people. What are yours? I'm pretty competitive so anything where there are points to be had is always going to appeal.

I read constantly.....

People keep telling me that I should go to this place called "outdoors".

Not allowed to run unless I am "being chased by a bear" (he was very specific about a bear as well so if there is a tiger or summat I'm screwed).

If you’re looking for something a bit more active, Dancer’s suggestion of dancing is a good shout, or any other music-based activity. Swimming is good too.

Hobbies are meant to be personal to you, so asking other people what hobbies you should do seems a little redundant.

Fund something you enjoy and can do often, and start doing it often to enjoy it more.

Kitchen gardens are wonderful! And foraging, there are some brilliant spots near us where you can find wild garlic, damsons, sloe berries, elderflower... yeah you get the idea.

Foraging is a lot of fun NSP, you can make sloe gin after which is delicious!

What about playing an instrument? Leaning into your hidden nerd and start gaming. Both have erm... marks which indicate how well you're doing so you can be competitive in that way.

Right now my hobbies are jogging, smut writing for friends blogs and trying to get myself fit and beautiful for the MLS.

Worthing

Get a nature camera and set it up outside. Most should have infared for nighttime. It's enoyable to review each day what the camera picks up. A cheap plant pot tray filled with water and birdseed nearby is also good. The camera should have a memory card and usb connection so you can copy footage to laptop/desktop computer.

If you're clumsy and have no balance I would advise against axe throwing whilst SUPing that could be a dangerous mix.

Running (easiest hobby ever. Open front door, place one foot in front of other, repeat step 2 lots)

Rock-climbing (you have some fantastic sea cliff routes down your way)

Mountaineering (Not many mountains your way and our winters are getting worse )

MTB (expensive to start)

Competitive masturbation (not sure this is an official hobby but it should be)

Re rock climbing. Try bouldering indoors as a starter - much safer, doesn’t need much kit.

All my hobbies are non competitive and things you can do alone (god knows what that days about me ). I do enjoy learning languages though mostly via Duolingo but if you take a class with actual people it can become extremely competitive. Especially at Christmas whey there's always someone who makes the nibbles on the last lesson of term an exercise in cordon bleu cookery

Outdoor photography.

It's a bit of a time sink. You pick a place and walk. As you see things you take photos.

It has the added bonus of eating up more time when you get home as you edit and look over your treasures.

If you need help you can visit us here. We can help. Give you pointers. Show you around. We can even give you a place to sleep. Or not.

I’ve got musical over lockdown. I buy stuff used off eBay, mess with it for a bit, then flog it if we don’t get on.

It’s amazing what you can do. "

I tried musical. The people at the other end of town begged me to stop....

I do enjoy learning languages though mostly via Duolingo but if you take a class with actual people it can become extremely competitive. Especially at Christmas whey there's always someone who makes the nibbles on the last lesson of term an exercise in cordon bleu cookery "

I should give languages a go. I might be ok with that..... less falling over potential. I could combine it with axe throwing maybe.....

"Outdoor photography.

Or not. "

That sounds like fun!

I usually end up at the beach whenever I do things like that. And waste time lol

I'm quite proud of my "early years stick figure" examples actually. It's taken almost 43 years to manage them..... so actual drawings that look like things I reckon I'll manage around my 87th birthday.

I do like the thought though.

Wheelchair sports are played on large open courts (no doors) and crashing into other people (on opposing teams) is encouraged. What's not to love?!
