I love a beard, however not everyone suits them so it’s really down to the individual. Can’t remember the last time I actually fancied someone who was clean shaven though.

A lot of people on this thread will have to change their names if beards become unfashionable .

Most people that don’t like beards seem to write it as part of their profile so they are easy to avoid.

Because it's the fashion & some feel it makes them look hard, more likely just a way to disguise a ugly mush & try to look older!!

The majority I've seen are very sad attempts yet some women seem to think they're cool.

Been sporting a beard in some fashion since my mid 20's.

Some women love the tickle, some hate it. Like anything it's a very personal thing but most seemingly approve.

Whatever you do keep it neat and groomed. NOBODY wants a scruffy unkempt mess. That would say a lot of negative things about you. [Roal Dahl's Mr Twit comes to mind]

I tend to shave about once a month so the length of my beard tends to vary depending on where I am in my shaving cycle. A few years ago I was chatting to a woman on a dating site and she invited me round hers one night. I stayed the night and we had a great time, she really liked long and passionate kissing which I like as well so that was cool. It just so happened that I’d shaved a few days before meeting her but she invited me round hers again a few weeks later and my beard had obviously grown in that time, when I arrived she was horrified to see the beard as it turns out she absolutely hates beards but had failed to tell me that. She refused to kiss me or go anywhere near me because of the beard and she lived quite far from me so I couldn’t go home to shave. We decided to just have a few glasses of wine together and chat but it was so frustrating for us both not to be able to kiss that I ended up shaving my beard off with the razor she uses to shave herself.
