Mine wasn't but my Son's gran was... And I am Gran and I am classed as tall for a woman

Yep - 6 foot plus, so huge for her generation, but she was Danish so not as surprising back home

I only met one of my nans as the other died aged 25.

My mum's mum was about 5ft6.

One of mine is still taller than me, when she manages to stand. She's nearly 6 foot.

My other was like a little hobbit, I height and her love for a feast (No idea if she had the hairy feet though).
