What things put you off on dating profile pictures?

Im not referring to Fab but real dating sites.

For me its women who have:

The pouting lips pose ,

Hideous lip injections,

Pics showing an expensive taste lifestyle in either dress sense or holiday locations; skiing, snow boarding etc..

Snuggled up next to a dog,

Festival pictures ie Glastonbury,

Stupid Tick Tok poses and filtered photos.

Have to say what i fear about dating sites is none of them look particularly safe. You feel in some way ur going to be scammed into losing a lot of money before you start n your computer banking will be in jeopardy.

After so long married n now single im so tempted only because all my adult life ive wished id met an Oriental Asian girl, as im overwhelmed by their beauty. They are not easy to meet up with socially so feel this may be a way for me to meet and find someone of my dreams. There again who'd want me hahaha.

Nothing against the mountain (except it’s hideously busy), nothing against people being happy they’ve reached the top, nothing against the people themselves.

Pictures with filters. I only lasted a few days on tinder, but did manage 2 dates. Prefer the sites you dont need to swipe on looks only, and can go back to the profiles at a later date. The secret like on here is to show some respect when you try to make contact.

Kids in pictures is kinda messed up. I’ve come across a few profiles where it’s like 1 pic of her then 5-6 pics of just the kids. Not even her in it?

I feel like it’s naive innocence of like, these are my kids, they are my life, look at these pics kinda thing

It was simply an observation. It did surprise me just how many had the same thing. Quite a few women did comment on how many men had photos with fish or a motorbike. I wonder if any posed holding a fish while sitting on a motorbike?

It's a post about what annoys people so I assumed that's why you'd written it. I prefer profiles with a little more personality but then I avoid dating sites these days. I have never seen the motorbikes and fish combined yet!

what puts us off meets is profiles without content, or obvious fake ones, just scroll on by...

people who try to send messages but clearly can't hold decent conversations, politeness costs nothing, bad manners get binned off straight away...

messy room photos or pictures that look kind of creepey, we don't need that in our lives

if that makes us judgemental, then so be it, we all have preferences and standards.

Plus I find it difficult to be really interested in someone over apps because everyone’s so different in person. I’ll know more about how compatible we are in a 30 minute coffee date than I will over a month of txting

Dating sites are my only option and i know from friends and family that relationships can evolve from them.

I dont go out and socialise much unless I'm catching up with friends and I never go to a pub or bar alone. So realistically when am I ever going to meet anyone?

Dating is hard and dating apps can be extremely frustrating. But I’ve had some amazing experiences from them.

I’ve definitely learned certain kinda profiles to stay away from.

Too many gym pics are the biggest no for me personally or too many group pictures.

Also, I've noticed on dating apps there is a LOT of bot accounts & scammers. I deleted a few dating apps because of it.
