Totes!!! I hate this time of the year and winter in general. If I could I’d live in a permanent spring/summer state…

I’m a summer girl!!! X

I have a SAD light on my desk. No idea if it’s placebo but it seems to work. About £20 on Amazon iirc

Exactly!! We are in the wrong country tho need to move somewhere warmer!!

If I had the money I’d be chasing summer all year round. Going from Europe to Australia (or other side of the equator) when it’s winter here

The sun puts me in the best mood!!

I love this time of year, cozy nights with the candles on.

Prefer snuggling up rather than sweating my bollocks off

I won’t pretend it changes everything, but worth a punt, certainly!

It would be nice to have the money to do that , I can literally feel my mood change when the weather and temperature starts to change, summer seems to fly by far too quickly , maybe rose tinted glasses but didn’t it last forever when you were a child lol

I found a wake up light helped with the shock of the the alarm going off in the dark. They’re all a bit crap and stupidly expensive though.

Been taking vitamin D this year and I’m feeling pretty good about life at the moment. Can’t promise it’s the D, but can’t hurt to try

I used to spend my childhood summers in the Med and I absolutely loved every second !! X

Coming back brown as fuck like I was an adopted child !!

There’s no such thing as too hot either (too humid yes but too hot)

… well okay if it’s still 35 at 10pm then it might be too hot x

But I generally love it and love being able to be a sunflower and just lay there getting a sun tan

Why do they have to change the clock tonight!! Why is it shitty and miserable?

Someone told me I might have SAD. .. “No, You’re F*kin sad!!!!”

I adore the summer sun and the warmer weather, I’ve got a grey sky, the wind is blowing and it’s wet. What is enjoyable about that?

The government actually did talk about scrapping the time changes as it was only used in the war time to help farmers …

I feel sorry for the people living in tower blocks having the cladding removed. They are wrapped in plastic and the residents won't get any natural light for twelve months.

But I hope they’d keep the summer time as I hate it when it gets dark at like 4pm …. YUCK

I’ve known several people over the years who have suffered with SAD, all have ended up buying sad lamps (phototherapy) and said it has helped a little! Maybe worth a try op? I’m sure you’re well aware of all the habit changes sad can create, and the knock on affect they have! Look after yourself op! Miss pc

Unless they go outside?

Bad situation though, of course.

we tend to get out in the day for a walk about, get some sun/daylight, BUT we are self employed so extremely lucky where we can just nip out and do this x

It’s a new concept to me hence asking people’s opinions and things that possible work.

Habit changes ?

I only like the dark mornings after a late, late night out but apart from it's very depressing. When the 1st of January hits, I start to count down the days till the end of March.

After 3 summers in Riyadh there’s definitely a too hot It’s a nice dry heat, but so hot! Aircon’s a necessity.

I thought the EU we’re going to get rid of daylight saving, but they seem to have ditched that idea (shrug emoji)

They used double summer time to help the farmers in ww2, that is the clocks went forward 2 hours in summer.

The changing of the leaf, is another term.

A lot of people feel the same at this time of year.

Its the body's way of adapting to a change in temperature, lack of sun and activity.

Most people get tired and lethargic as well as all the aches and pains from damp weather (the joys of getting old lol)

I know a few people who suffer from it.

A sunbed/lamp can help, as well as a hot tub to help ease it a bit.
