Inspired by the pie thread.

Is a pie a pie if it’s only got crust on top?

Or is a pie only ever a pie if it’s fully encased in the wonder of pastry?

The pie factory in Tipton as well as it’s famous desperate Dan cow pies did what was on the menus for years as the Barrymore Pie, fagots abs peas in a pie, now we are in woke times they have taken the name off it.

I will state for the record, I’m not pie-ist. I love all denominations and colours of pie. But do we need a pie movement?

A full, top, bottom, full, flan, quiche, potato covered pie army?!

Incidentally... I just found out my local pie and mash does fruit pies with custard but all it is, is the regular pies with fruit inside instead of... Whatever is in the normal pies. Pie for mains and pie for afters.

Shepherds/cottage pie is a glitch in the matrix but as it’s meat covered in yummy mashed potato (and cheese) we can let it slide..

Pasty is fully encased no foil tray involved.

That's not fair though. I'm not even sure if you're an authentic pie eater. If you are your genetics or workout regime dictates that pies have little effect on your physique. Whereas I just have to have a slight whiff of a pie and I put on a stone.
