Does anyone else do this? The amount of times Ive thought I've replied to an email or message only to discover I only replied in my head and never sent anything Not helpful when trying to plan stuff. Is it just me that seems to have the memory of a goldfish?

I do this all the time, and then I realise and too much time has gone by so I’d look like a knob replying

Yeah I'm guilty of this. I kind of have my inbox time and my forum time. Sometimes I can check my inbox, go back the forum and then forget to reply.

My wife does it a lot.

“Did you get x?”

“No, you didn’t ask for one”

“Yes I did”

“Uh-uh….nope.”

“I did!”

“Nope”

“I…”

“Still nope”

Always yes! My head is very organised and answers straight away. My fingers and keyboard take a lot longer or never to get round to it

I'm really bad for this, or finding things in drafts that I've been waiting on a response to.

Not with emails usually because I can flag it or mark it unread for later. Other messages yeah. And this is why I don't use s napcht because when the message is gone I'll forget what was even sent nevermind that I should reply.

I receive somewhere In The region of 1300 emails a month, not including ones I’m only cc’d into.

I miss a lot!

I’m terrible with text messages. I’ve typed out my reply and think I’ve sent it. Get a bit “wtf is taking them so long to reply” and on checking my phone I haven’t sent the bloody message. It’s just sat there waiting to go.

Not emails for work because well.. I'd be a pretty useless employee if I forgot to reply!

But with friends/family/fab then yeah, totally forget to actually reply sometimes.

If they take 24hrs then that’s basically a new day, new convo

I quite often type it out then stunningly fail to hit send and then notice it hours later when I’m wondering why they haven’t replied again
