I do normal gravy but I slowly fry some red onions and then lay them over mash

Fancied a stew today so in the oven I have stewing steak cooking slowly with carrots onions and celery. To accompany which must go on soon is potatoes cauliflower and cabbbage. Sounds like winter food I know.

Just had a delicious Beef Wellington with goose fat roast potatoes and green beans.....and proud to say I never made a single bit of it.

Took the sleeve off the packets and stuck them in the oven....did boil the kettle for the green beans though.

Picked up loads of cold roast beef for about 20% of the original price, so I had some of that along with the usual discounted roast chicken bits and pieces I picked up when I did my weekly shop.

I don't have a full meal in the evenings when I am on my own, just whatever snacks in the house will do for me.
