What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?

I don't really have any hobbies as such, I have lots of things that interest me but nothing I particularly invest a lot of time, effort or money into so it always intrigues me what others do as a hobby and why.

Why don’t you have hobbies? What do you do do with the spare time? Wolf don’t you just having one?

People that don’t have hobbies always confuse me. Is existing a hobby?

Ice hockey and music/song writing. I’ve been playing music since 2nd year high school but have been falling out of love with it for the last 6 years so 6 years ago I got into ice hockey to take my mind away from it all

See I listen to music and go out with friends, Watch TV, Read, go to the gym but I don't really see tham as hobbies.

I guess I was thinking more about something people invest a lot of time effort and money in.

I took up dancing 10 years ago and in lockdown took up airsoft I always have something going on.

Being single you need to. I got into dancing through seeing a newspaper article in the 80s and went to a club in Carnaby St.

Had a break and got into re enactment and often had a dance night after shows. Took up lessons got into Ceroc West Coast Swing and Tango.

Tool up airsoft on a whim and it kept me occupied during lockdown as these were open between events and dancingbhas only started up again.

Dancing.. I started when I was 2, (I think my mum sent me along for some peace and quiet)

Over the years I went on to attend Scottish Ballet, attend dance college, dance at the opening of the Millennium Dome and be in many theatre productions.

I now teach and I absolutely love it, it will always be my passion and I can’t imagine a time where I won’t do dance in some form xx

Mine is writing & recording music & playing instruments.

I've recently got an MPC one which is a machine you can create and record sound patterns on repeatedly- until you have a full song. I've put a clip of it on my public videos for anyone to watch. .It's pretty different to playing a guitar or piano or drums (which i normally do)..a different approach to writing songs.

Mrs KC - wheelchair sports (basketball, track racing), gym, horse riding

Mr KC - painting and collecting impossibly small toy soldiers

How did we get into them? I've ridden horses since I was a small child (2 ish) but stopped when I was pregnant and never started again. Then found a place nearby that specialises in riding for people with disabilities, so got back into it. Wheelchair sports - weirdly got into it through work. Obviously acquiring a disability was also central to it!

Mr KC - has collected his little soldiers since he was a young child because his dad is also a collector and painter of models.

I go walking regularly and I love taking photos while I’m out and about. I write poetry sometimes when the mood takes me.

Photography and videography. I've also played around with stop motion animation a little. I create little films of places I have been to or featuring family.

Well, I like to get a bag of peanut M&M’s then carefully remove the peanut then place them in a jar. It is painstakingly difficult, but so very satisfying . I am thinking about upping my game and starting to remove the cheese from a Macdonalds cheese burger!

mainly angling can get very selfish with it, i was planning to be out this autumn/winter but that didn't happen so instead of messing around doing the odd day here and there, i'm prepping for the new year, i do specimen angling once you start it can be very hard to come away from, even had a lake owner in the early summer ask me when i was planning on next going home

"I don't have hobbies. It grieves me in job interviews or when I start a new contract, it's something I get asked a lot and I have nothing to talk about.

I read, I go out for meals, I go to galleries and museums, I do a lot of courses but none of that feels like a hobby.

Yeah that's exactly how I feel it's not like I'm not into things I just don't have something that will grip my attention for a long period of time. "

I think rather than hobbies yiu have pastimes. Things yiu do when yiur not working. I read like people breath and I classify it as a hobby so you fine

Hobbies include walking by a crowded bars on a Friday night, seeing people dancing and having a good time, and thinking to myself, "that looks fucking dreadful."

I'm a keen organ/keyboard player, not especially good at it but a great way to unwind after a stressful day. Better than sex in some ways,I can do it when I feel the need & it doesn't say it's got a head ache or not in the mood ! And the pleasure if not as intense lasts longer.
