They say we should copy the Dutch and extend land into the sea. Which direction might you think would be best?

Yes definitely be a good place to dump all the rubbish we produce but I'd fill in the Bristol channel to start with . Be easier to get to Wales from here

I'd get a team of workers armed with pneumatic drills to drill down either side of the Midlands from east to west coasts. Then use tug boats to pull out that section of land and just let it float away.

The same team of workers can throw ropes to eachother across the gap that's left and pull the remaining two bits of land together. The rope can then be used to sew the two bits together. Job done!
