Sad, but same. It makes me tear up when I'm not even away from home! Or Loch Lomond, can't end a party without it! I had American friends visiting one time who were terrified about the weird old people mosh pit where everyone ran headfirst at each other

Max Boyce "Hymns and Arias"

When I worked in Birmingham, away for a week at a time, the drive home on a Friday I always put it on as I passed Symmonds Yat; timing was such that as I got to the "Welcome to Wales" sign, Max and the crowd are just kicking off the the first of the "and we were singing..."

Third vote for Caledonia, more so as you get older and now living outside of Scotland exiled down south for just a little bit longer.

I remember going to a Max Boyce gig in Edinburgh and the whole crowd was singing it! Just shows how popular he was at one time

Midlands

East 17 - Around the world

"Been around the world

Seen the seas seven sailed across them all

Seen the moon rise over paris and I watched her gently fall

On to the beat

Keep moving never stopping

Though sometimes

I feel like dropping gotta keep on and be strong avoid the wrong

Cos in this life you walk alone

Through the danger zone until you get home

Been around the world but there's no place like home"
