Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.

Hello from wild windy Cymru.

I dont post as much as i used to so for those who dont know. I am a happy long term Forumite. Who just sits back to read all the shenanigans going on in here .

As my chums may know i am splendidly positive, some times annoyingly so

We do all like to complement others and yes we are hard wired to enjoy complements too.

So unlike most threads this is about you.

I said a lot of positive stuff about myself in my profile and I am happy to repeat. Still not an easy ask, mind you.

I am a very affable, gregarious person despite being very shy in my youth and in many respects an introvert. But, thanks to my job and my travels, I am way more adept and confident in social situations.

I am also nearly three years sober and have done amazingly to navigate the rigours of my career and personal life without having a drink to "take the edge off".

And I'm also now able to look at myself naked in the mirror and say, "You're FIT"... which I never could have done even three or four years ago.

So, yeah, I'm fit, friendly and fabulously sober.

To be fair, I've done a lot of work on myself over the last seven years or so, which makes it a little easier to acknowledge myself, my achievements and my positive attributes. 10 years ago I would have really struggled to come up with anything.
