Anyone else watching this now? I must admit as I was very young when it happened my knowledge on it wasn't great but it's appalling the way the police had covered it up. I hope the families of the 96 may find some sense of peace now.

that is until they need them.

yes they did wrong, but many do a fantastic job protecting us. We shouldn't tar them due to the failing of a few.

I'm watching it now and it makes me feel sick. To see how the relatives suffered is heartbreaking and all the 'sincere' and 'unreserved' apologies are too easy to hand out.

There has to be prosecutions otherwise what will have been learned? That as long as apologies are issued organisations can avoid having to face punishment!

Every policeman/woman that changed their Statement to hide what truely Went on that terrible Day should be charged.

I can Remember watching it on the telly and still makes me cry to this Day.

Total Cover up...disgraceful.

I have had a statement "Doctored" by the police to get themselves out of the shit. Yeah they are very very good at perverting the course of justice

I have recorded it so will watch tomorrow.

I am a scouser and liverpool fan, and I have never dislike the police force.

Yes what they and emergency services did that day way horrendous, but I would never not call an ambulance, or dislike the ambulance serviice because of it. As for the police, it was wrong, comletely for covering it all up, if you can't trust the police, who can you trust? But they were given orders from above.

The emergency services are only human. And no, I am not condoning with what has been proved in the files, but surely slating EVERY police officer is exactly the same in what the scummy s*n did?

Put your emotions into supporting the families again, rather than targetting others.
