Never triangle, how can you put some of your brekkie on that and make a proper bitty without things squeezing out of it? X

Depends. Cheese on toast - Triangles. Toast with butter or for a bacon sarnie - Rectangles, if I bother to cut it at all. Toast to dip into soup or have with pâté - Small triangles.

Depends on the context. Bacon is a bugger to cut diagonally.

Only gets cut for soldiers or if a bacon buttie, then it’s in half. Otherwise it just stays while and I pull chunks away.

It depends on what's on it. If I'm going to be dipping my toast into a mug of beans I go for a triangle. Otherwise, I like rectangles.

In half to make two rectangles, that way the kids only take part of my toast when they steal some and I still have something to eat.

I love triangles though. Best served in a toast rack. Reminds me of holidays

Is it wrong to suggest that folding is the way to go and not cutting? Certainly a better was to contain the mess of a sloppy piece of jammy toast!

Clearly down the middle though... diagonally would be like origami!
