Have created a group on facebook for more open members of fabs.

Of course this does not reveal your fabs handle.

But a place to chat to non-members or people thinking about dipping their toe in.

Not for everyone. But the group exists

It would reveal my real name though

Just wondered if it's ok to ask a question not dissecting the situation lol

Why choose that platform and not say another, where identity could be more discreet?

I have to give it to you for being very open. It's quite a risky thing especially on Facebook. I've added a few people from here on Facebook but they are people that I know well and met.

But if it works for you then why not right?

Good idea.

Its just fb is the 'largest' and most used platform. Maybe Twitter, but not as many people on there

Same. I have friends on here and in real life.

Im not really hiding tbh,

But in general its not a secert that I'm on here.

I dont advertise it or anything on my personal page.

And that is kept seperate by friends invite only

I’m in lots of Facebook groups but wouldn’t join this , fab let’s anyone join without any ID verification and that alone attracts people you wouldn’t want knowing about our full name , friends, family etc. I know you meant well but I think it’s a really bad idea

I’m not sure how many takers would be up for this but good luck.

For most swingers, discretion is a huge thing and don’t want this mixing with FB where they have work colleagues, family, vanilla friends, etc. Plus there are safeguarding issues of personal details, full names and face pictures, which can be dangerous.

Personally I don’t want the two mixing, no matter how open I am in life.

As well intentioned as it is, remaining here and away from the major SM platforms, unless it’s with people I directly know and trust, is best
