Would you rather be in the audience, or the orchestra?

"Would you rather be in the audience, or the orchestra? "

Orchestra , especially if sitting beside some absolutely gorgeous stunning super hot sexy female violin player that nearly every orchestra seems to have loads of.

Exactly, I'd be the saxophone player, but I could always chat them all up in the bar at the after show party

I play a brass instrument in an orchestra. Just starting back after the pandemic.

It’s an amazing experience being in the middle of bunch of humans making music - all working together, and all so reliant on each other. I’ve played in lots of bands, but it’s a few levels up in terms of interplay and risk, particularly regarding playing in the right place at the right time .

And, yes, there’s lots of super-hot, supee-talented women in orchestras .

I did a “proms at the castle” orchestra gig every summer until Covid struck. Hopefully start again this year. I do like to go to an orchestra concert too.

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

Love going to Orchestral Concerts, especially ones in Cathedrals where the accoustics can be mind blowing.

Never been talented enough to play any instruments but I am sure given the skills my choice would have been a Cello.

Both. Really miss playing in an orchestra, not been in one since I was at Uni. I'm in a choir which gives a similar feeling though.

Might try and join an amateur one now the kids are older. That's if any need an out of practice flautist

I don't think orchestras have a need for a kazoo or spoons player- so i'll be in the audience, right in the centre about 10-15 rows back for the optimum aural experience

I went to a Classic Ibiza gig at Darley Park in Derby a month or so ago, even though the tickets were about £40, it was a brilliant evening

"Would you rather be in the audience, or the orchestra? "

Excellent question ace.

My initial reaction is orchestra as I have zero ability with musical instruments and have always yearned to learn one.

On further reflection though my answer is the audience for the reasons quoted above!

Ooooo, that's a toughie...

I've seen some cracking bands like Whitesnake; Scorpions; Black Sabbath; Saxon & the effect they have on a crowd is immense. Being in the crowd is amazing & fun too!

For me it's gotta be the "ORCHESTRA" playin' cos ya know you are twisting other peoples "mellons"....
