Saturday was either warming up after standing on the terraces, or mates round for dinner / drinks or a quiet night in the local, late nights were always Thursday or Friday.

For me, Saturday nights in the later end of the 90s were stood outside shops trying to get someone to go in and buy us cider. We would then drink it from a straw and spin round in circles because "it got you more d*unk".

Thankfully I'm no longer a teenager and I'm a tad more classy!

We used to use a bendy straw and bend it over the bottle with part in, part out and the air forced the drink into your mouth resulting in you downing it in a matter of seconds. Am sure someone can explain the process more articulate than me
