So what are type of person are you when it comes to messaging? Do you like to chat a lot with people you are interested in? Or do you like to keep it at a distance even though you’re keen to meet?

Depends how much of a hook I can get off their profile, status or a post.

My most successful messages have been topical, picking up on something from one of the above. If I can’t readily find anything, I may think twice about messaging.

I’m a shit chatter. I don’t need to speak to people often to know they’re still there and I apply the same to fab. There’s a few friends I’ll chat to on and off but I’ll often just zone out of messaging for a while. Constant chat drains me.

I'm shit. Sporadic at the very best. Not just on here, with my friends away from here too...it's a wonder I ever managed to meet anyone, but I just can't be doing with texting all the time. Chatting on the phone is a different matter entirely.

Sorry, I misread the question; my response above was for initial messages.

If I‘ve started something with someone I like then yes, I do get in touch quite regularly.

It depends on how I feel about the person really. I can be really talkative with someone for a few days and then just be a bit wiped and not talk for a bit.

I lose interest quickly in talking to new people one on one via this format unless they really do grab my attention/actually express an interesting opinion.

If I'm really interested in someone I find them the most fascinating thing ever and will talk a lot to them until that temporary state of mind disappears.

I'm sporadic. And its usually time dependant in my life. People will get a conversation out of me on days off but otherwise not so much. I don't run too many conversations at a time, and gosh they've got to hold their own.

During lockdown I had a lot of plans to meet several people off the site, either at clubs or more intimately. Non of those have come to fruition now the lockdown precautions have eased.

I don’t blame them as I’m terrible at keeping in touch with people, from friends to family.

So I take full responsibility, for being flaky.
