monsters under the bed !!

now if there were really such a thing as a time machine...and you only had one go on it..

i think i would transport myself back to that magical age when I was 4(1966)

looking out of the window stood on a chair watching all my siblings march off to school to leave me all alone at last with my mum (sadly both parents died when i was young so have happy memories)

not for me being stuck in front of dvd's videos computer games or 24 hour kids t.v. (they didn't exist of course...just a little black and white set with two channels and lots of interference...especially if farnborough air show was on)

and so a full day where my mum would talk to me as she did her housework and laugh with me...stopping occasionally to share a cup of coffee ( i was hooked even then)a game of snap,help with my paintings, watch with mother or listen with mother on the radio ( or wireless...on the light programme if you please !).

the vacuum cleaner was fireball Xl5

sheets for washing and spin drying become a play tent...in summer I "helped" with the ing ..having grown out of a worm diet by then i would avoid the squirmy things.

a trip to the shops on the bus (double decker with a conductor)and i got to press the stop button.

butchers then grocers to get "something for tea"

maybe some sweets on the way home if i didn't dawdle or wine about her chatting with friends in the street....occasionally a toy from boyd's.

i know you maybe at home now with your kids from school and i know they are a pain and always wine and winge...i know you love them but they will have happy memories also when they where four..that really innocent age ignorant of all the facts and inquisitive...not been sworn at ...no worries at all except making sure you get your shoes on the right feet and brushing your teeth..when football results didnt ruin your weekend and you were not hindered with the curse of adult afflictions like sex ! ( euuwww !)

awwww poor thing ... although, his profiles still there, maybe his wife caught him and banned him from the pc .... and tied him up under the bed .... maybe it was some kind of code ... maybe she's the monster, maybe shes chopping bits of him off and eating them
