What is your preferred method when making a cup of tea?

Leave the tea bag in then add milk or take it out and add milk?

Or even milk before the water goes in??!

Leave tea bag in, then add milk, squeeze tea bag to arrive at desired colour

Looks like we have got a mixed “bag” so far. I drink green tea so I leave the bag in and obviously no milk

Tea bags Gotta be out before milk. It’s like the whole cereal before the milk is poured. There’s no other way.

Tea bag

Sugar (2 to be precise)

Water

Let it stew (often forget about it)

Remove the tea bag

Add milk (milkyness is determined on a day by day basis)

But how long to stew? Does that change day to day also?

"

I'd say 3 minutes is about the perfect time to stew and forget.

Brewed in a pre-warmed teapot, brewed nice and strong. The correct measure of milk poured into a China cup prior to pouring in brewed tea from pot. Add sugar (to taste) and stir well.

Preference is for tea made in a teapot, ideally loose leaf tea (oolong being a favourite). If it's made in a cup with a teabag then bag out before milk goes in.
