Thanks all for your good wishes and prayers, the verdict from the surgeon was great!

Grade two ductal carcinoma with no metastases.

One operation and it is out, and hopefully no chemo no radiotherapy and a speedy return to health. So happy. xxx

Think the op is scheduled for next Monday so not long to wait and I should be recovered enough for the masquerade ball five days later.

laine had mine removed during summer hols had a few bouts of chemo but im fine and feel great my prayers are with you at last you can have closure on all the waiting and worrying good luck hope it goes well and you make a quick recovery xxx jo

I can't knock the Health Service either, we must have been top of the list yesterday - in, just sat on seat and got called, he got on bed, nurse and doctor walked into room - cut off plastercast, examined him and new boot fitted and out we went all within 20 mins to half an hour - no waiting around at all

Oh and just to add never miss or put of a smear 5 mins of uncomfortableness if that is a word lol for peace of mind goes a very long way x

I agree mammogram to op less that 4 weeks. Had great treatment..I even get a free parking ticket for the three weeks radiotherapy.. good for the NHS..
