Love my trimmed beard. Gets annoying if it gets too long, but it's long enough that it's soft and not prickly or scratchy

I think a well-groomed beard looks great, so I have no problem whatsoever with their appearance. However an excess of facial hair does tend to aggravate my sensitive skin when snogging, so it ends up all red. Not a good look!

I've been told that I suit a beard, as without I look 16 - which isn't necessarily a bad thing the older I get

Well kept though. I tried to grow a bushier one over lockdown and I don't know how people can handle them. They're just impractical and you get the most random assortment of things stuck in it

I'm a fan of a beard on a man I think looks good with a beard. I'm not a fan of a beard on a man who I don't think looks good with a beard.

Some men without beards would look better with a beard in my view. Some men with beards I think might look better without a beard.

Some men look good with stubble.

I like men who rock the look they like.

I grew my beard after leaving the army and working in Afghanistan the Iraq that was back in 2007, Christ I feel old. Back then it was a little shorter than now, as it was bloody hot.

I know it suits me as I look like my dad when he has his ands he was handsome chap.

I didn’t really grow it for a fashion thing as back then they weren’t as popular as they are now. It was a way of separating us from looking like the Army

And getting into debates with officers over the way we dressed.

Now! Now I like my beard and it’s definitely part of me.

On a mooch

It really is down to the individual, their face, their upkeep of it.

I grew up in a domain where there was no facial hair except the rare moustache, beards were for sailors, so have naturally tended to go for clean shaven men.

As I’ve aged, I’ve grown to appreciate them and some men really suit them so you can’t imagine them without, but they must be well kept. One thing I struggle with is stubble, it just looks lazy, screams can’t be bothered to shave, plus it cuts my face to shreds

Each to their own, it would be boring if we all liked the same things.

Away for Christmas

Working on my beard, I keep setting myself back and trimming it a bit too much once it gets to the messy awkward stage that just refuses to be controlled even with attention and care used.

I'm at that stage now but determined to see it through regardless of how bad it looks currently.

Beards have other uses too

I shaved mine off once and all of a sudden I lost power. Things like clearing out the shed, going to the dump, putting up shelves, using power tools and just general manly stuff that’s done around the house because a pain the arse and harder to do.

Grew the beard back and they became a fucking cinch again!!! …although hoovering and other such stuff became a problem.

Belfast

I've had mine 4 years now and it's done wonders for my self esteem. If I ever decide to shave it off it won't have anything to do with trends or anyone elses opinion.

If someone doesn't like beards I won't feel I'm missing out by not meeting them.

Delightful Bliss

I like both as long as they are soft, my sensitive skin flares up with stubble or scratchy beards

I can touch my nipple with my beard, I dont trouble myself to much about if other people like them or not. Cause of ego and stuff. I follow my beard every where it goes

Always clean shaven or stubble for me.

But life would be dull if we all liked the same.

There’s someone for everyone

Both my loves have beards. I like nice trimmed ones not real long or anything that looks like a hairy ass
