From my observations I’d say both men and women want to feel special. Not always easy to achieve as different things make ppl feel special. So listen to your ‘partner’ and know your audience. A partner shouldn’t need to be told how to make you feel special. They should want to make you feel special and take the time to know how. If they don’t take that time at the beginning of a relationship they never will and you’re with the wrong person.

Normally for both of us it would be people who we can engage with socially and intimately. They would be able to understand and deliver what we want out of a meet and vice versa.

At this particular moment we'd settle for someone who knows how to sort a turbo position sensor fault on a 2016 Peugeot Boxer van without having to replace the whole turbo.

Life doesn't always deliver what we want though
