I once went out for dinner with someone, and they accidentally got me talking about abandoned places and local history. I didn't realise how long I'd been banging on – with photos and references – until the staff started closing up the restaurant around us.

Needless to say, there was no second date. Oops.

Music, food, film, ideal holiday destinations, our impressions of Fab, jobs, etc etc.

Last guy I met, we had messaged for a week or so beforehand. The chat was dynamite and my kids were always asking why I was guffawing with laughter at my phone.

Then we met and for me, the all-elusive chemistry just wasn’t there. I hate it when that happens!

"I don't have a favourite. I talk about so much random stuff and depends on the person I'm talking to.

Very much this.

I usually don't bring topics up in a way that narrows it down in to conversational categories, just wherever the conversation naturally leads to.

Me and C talked about anything and everything.

We chatted for about 6 weeks, throughout the day before we met so the conversations were varied.

We formed our foundations before we saw each other face to face.

For others we meet we like to get to know them. We find talking about everything other than sex gives us a better understanding than talking about sex.

Although if we are playing a scenario out then sometimes it’s no conversation with C, just between me and them…

I avoid politics, religion and covid. None of it interests me and it's something that can get heated depending on what the other person feels about it all.

I've had conversations with people about breastfeeding (in a none kink way), career and exams.

Anything random… conversation should naturally flow. Although I’m not a prolific chatter so will often bugger off and not look at my inbox for days. Sex chat is a huge turn off for me. I’ll have that conversation when I’ve met someone and if I fancy them and not before.

I tend not to talk about sex as much as you'd expect on here. While I love the doing of it, the discussion of it I find repetitive and a bit dull after a while.

Previous experiences are different - tell me about your first crush, when you last had your heart broken, the best holiday romance you ever had. Don't tell me how you're going to destroy my vagina with your massive throbbing tool.

I'd much rather know about someone's life, the good meaty values and beliefs stuff right through to the inconsequential everyday stuff. People are endlessly interesting and I absolutely love it when someone has a passion they can geek out about.
