"I've just read this book, but part way through I felt like I'd read it before. But I wondered how could I have done it was a new booked and even referenced Christian Grey on the back. It was so familiar that I did a search on the net... Turns out it was published originally as Subtext by Kate Marley, and then when 50 Shades got so popular they re-released it under a different author, and changed names, and added a bit more into the book! Bit annoyed I ended up buying and reading the same book without realising." i nearly bought it but after reing the first few pages in tescos i thought it was familiar so downloaded a free sample on my phone and sat with 'subtext' cpmparing the two lol very sneaky by the publishers i think!!

"On this subject has anyone read Story of O and would you recommend it?" Yes I've read it and it's a great book. If you want to buy it buy the box set of both 'O' books and the dvd film (make sure it's the 1976 version as that's the better of the three films that have been made of The Story of O). The second book isn't as good as the first and the film doesn't live up to your imagination but the original Story of O is very good. You can get it on Amazon.
