Hotel room Query

Sorry if this sounds like a silly question.

If we (couple) find a suitable third who wishes to do a hotel meet, do we have to book a room for three or just two (as we probably won't all be sleeping there?)

If we could 'get away' with only booking a room for two, what's to stop us being even cheekier and just booking a room for one and sneaking all three of us up? Apart from a tiny bed maybe?

A town near you perhaps

Book a double room (you may all struggle on a single bed) and your 3rd can join you.

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

I think a lot of occupancy rates are based on how many people are going to be there having breakfast the next morning, I don’t think many of the larger hotel chains care too much about how many people are actually going to be using the room, it doesn’t cost more to clean up after three than after two unless multiple beds are being used.

Unless you are all sleeping overnight, I'd book for 2

Chuck them out as soon as possible after sex and remember that get free cancellation there is still a good chance there could still let you down.

If they what to sleep in the room they must pay half but we would what them out they are still strangers at the end of the day..
