"Morning all! Hope you all slept well?! I slept so badly, had so many nightmares. I don’t remember them but I know at one point I woke in such a panic I was outside my front door when I woke up enough to be rational (so glad I was wearing pyjamas last night) " Hope you get a chance to grab a little nap or just take it easy today. Nightmares are draining..

"You actually woke up outside , or in your dream you were outside? I do not sleep well at all generally - i woke several times last night and was on fab around 3am lol.. i also had bad dreams that have lingered this morning According to my DD i talk in my sleep I'm always shattered when i wake and feel like i have sand in my eyes " I woke up as I stepped through the front door. The light in the stairwell actually woke me up properly

"Like a baby. I am asleep usually within a minute of my head hitting on the pillow and never wake until morning , naturally wake about 5am feeling bouncy What is your secret? " To improve chances of a good sleep, develop these daily habits:- 1. Always Turn your phone off and start a daily digital detox no later than 8pm. 2. This includes FAB 3. don’t drink coffee or tea after 2pm 4. Read for 30 minutes before bed. 5. Take a walk - preferably in the countryside - for 20-30 minutes at some point in the afternoon or evening 6. Work - Write out a short “to do” list for tomorrow’s urgent/priority actions, so that you’re not kept awake/constantly mulling over random thoughts of things you need to do 7. Make your bedroom cool, quiet and dark. These are habits I don’t follow as a ritual every day, but try to practice. I always sleep soundly if I follow them X

"Terrible nights sleep. But that’s because the moon is heading towards full. Always sleep badly when the moon is in waxing gibbous phase between a first quarter moon and full. Next full moon is 20th" Is that genuinely a real thing about the moon? I have heard people say it before but I kind of always dismissed it as hearsay. Do you think it is related to the moon or is it just a regular thing that happens to coincide?

My ex suffers depression and I could always tell a full moon was coming because his mental state would alter quite dramatically

The only time I sleep soundly (like the dead) is when i get back from dancing at 2am, shower and crawl into my jimjams and then under the duvet

Consider 5htp and/or L-tryptophan If you wake up during the night, do not pick up your phone, you’re essentially training yourself to wake up. The use of meditation apps can be effective too.

It's very frustrating so I understand x

I don't even have a telly in my room just an Alexa I play nature sounds on in the background away from my bed I would avoid taking supplements as they could react with meds your already taking or exacerbate any health conditions Talk to a Dr before starting any supplements.

" I get plenty of vit D as spend at least an hour outdoors most days, although with winter it’s important to consider supplements if you can’t be out during the daylight hours (it’s dark in the mornings and evenings!). I regularly fall asleep to an Audiobook (the choice is important), a mindfulness app or my white noise machine
