Easy ..put the pasta in the bowl you're going to use first, then tip it into the boiling water

Bacon, mushroom, broccoli and a dollop of cream cheese with black pepper my default fast food fix ..20 mins max

I use the kids ikea plastic cups to measure penne/similar.

1 cup = 1 child portion

1.5-2 cups = 1 adult portion

If there's more than 3 I maybe add an extra cup full.

On a mooch

A mug full each with an extra sprinkle to make sure, never looks enough but it normally is. Spaghetti about a third of the packet for two.

Always some left over, but win win as easy lunch for me the next day

I just cook the whole 500g pack and that makes either 3or 4 servings for me, depending on how hungry I am. Beats measuring.

I eat a stupid amount of pasta in one sitting, but know that (after years of angst..) if it covers the bottom of the pan when dry then it'll be enough.

Dont forget that it swells in size!

Fnar. Etc.

4 of my handfuls per person seems to work in our house. I used to have a spaghetti measure but I swear it was for child portions so binned it

It probably wasn't. 1 serving dry pasta should be around 75g. Trouble here is our portion sizes.
