Secret hideaway in the pennines

I started a thread on this earlier today, but I will add the poem to this thread.

To the life that never was

For the child not meant to be

Know that you will be remembered

For all eternity

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

No matter how many times it happens, the pain never gets any less. And you never forget

I’m very fortunate - I still have all three of my babies - though they’re almost adults now.

Having one of them die before me is probably about the only thing in life that scares me.

Sending massive love and hugs to the op and anyone else who’s lost a child.

Hugs…

I dont have a child but I have a cat, and even thinking about something bad to her just makes me terrible. Really sorry for your little angel but I am sure she is sooo happy right now.

I hope that this is not recent for you ?

If not, none of us ever forget and there are always certain times that it fills our mind and you simply can't forget. Life goes on though, enjoy it.

Big hugs to all the mums & dads who little ones grew their wings too soon. X

They say time is a healer, but this certainly isn’t the case. The pain is still there, always in your thoughts and after nearly 26 years the memories are like it was yesterday. X
