Long story sorry but a memory that stuck.

I remember being a young lad in my late teens, starting out with dating girls etc. I was sat in the work canteen with some older folk, one being my Dad, one being a friend of the family who had know me as a kid. The other being the 30 something female canteen chef/cook.

We were all talking about the weekend and I mentioned seeing a girl I was cute on at the time. They ribbed me about sexy time etc and the lady turns around and says whatever you do take your socks off. You can be shit or ace in the sack but don't be lazy and take your bloody socks off.

Always stuck with me and even rang in my head a time or two when in the heat of the moment with the now Mrs that I forget.
