i dont own a kindle i have a ndrioid does exactlyy same and damm site more it goes on internet cant use skype got loads apps and only cost me 49.00

I have a Kobo Vox and love it!

None of this can't loan library books out, unless you are in the USA.

I didn't want one, love the touch and feel of books but was bought one as a present.

They're bloody fantastic, wouldn't be without it now.

I have one and I use it lots. But I travel a lot for work.

When I'm home I hardly use it as I still prefer a book. But I'm about to go on holiday and it means I can pack lots more shoes and clothes!

Mrs has one and loves it, has a long list of books on it waiting to be read . Mr much prefers the real thing and still has just about every book he has ever read. Cant do that with a kindle. So thats not much help to you is it lol.

I was sceptical at first, but have grown to love it since receiving it at Christmas last year - just through sheer practicality, and it goes wherever I do

Only got the most basic one, and that has an excellent battery life, and is slim and compact.

I manage all of the downloads from my pc, and sync or deliver all of my purchases staight to the kindle.

Go to the Kindle Books Discussion page and every day there are threads to Free books for download.

My only minor gripe is that there is no backlight for evening reads, but you can buy cheap little LED ones that do a good job

I wouldn't pay all that extra for a touchscreen version or anything like that. You'd be better off buying the Kindle Fire HD or Google Nexus android tablets

Now do a search for free books.

And when looking for particular books or authors scroll down as some versions are cheaper than others.

Always thought Kinders were overpriced, and all y agot was a plastic toy.

Oh Kindles, thats different, got one for Simone for christmas and she loves it. Simone not really a techno but soon got on with the Kindle and soon found all the free books. Also she likes the fact you can preview before purchasing.
