So how do you lot get when you’re getting ready for a first meet? Nerves? Excited? Doubts?

Are the feelings the same if it’s a play meet or whether it’s a social?

Intrigued by everyone’s thoughts

Equal parts nervous and excited, with a small sprinkling of "what if they don't show up?"

The day I don’t get butterflies in advance of a first (or any meet) is the day I hang up my libido

Nervous that she’s some Villanelle style psychopath and that she’ll dice me up and wear my testicles as earrings.

I absolutely love the feeling of nervous excitement.

You've ben chatting for a while, built up a connection & finally, the day has come to meet. Excitement tinged with a bit of nervousness. It's a better feeling than sex. Ok that's a lie

Camberley occasionally doncaster

If I wasn't excited about meeting someone new it would be time to retire and start wearing my comfy slippers everywhere and constantly moan about the weather

I always get nervous and excited.

First social I ever drove to I was nervous as hell and don't know how I didn't bottle it. So glad I didn't though.

Just excited…the nerves are already dealt with leading up to it.

Just a continuation of the chat but in real life and putting into practice the things you’ve wound each other up with…

The first meet is always a social and usually I only half expect them to show up, so I'm calm. If it goes beyond social - that's when the nerves, excitement, anticipation and all that kick in.

I’ve had meets for drinks, coffee and also meet at a hotel room with the door ajar.

I minute my nerves by having good communication with my date in the hours before the meet.

I think some nerves are good. It means you care about the impression you are going to make.

A mixture of above!

But positive mainly. If things feel easy and flowing it should all be good. Right? I hope so anyway.

Nice outfit is half of a success as if I feel good that'd a great foundation.
