im a very insecure person, i dont have a once of vanity on me, infact im the total opposit to vain to the point my friends go on at me all the time for putting myself down

in a way i think that can be just as bad, because as much as we dont want to hear people going on about how great they are all the time, people also dont want to hear you going on about your inperfections all the time either

Pretty much spot on there although to one person confidence is seen as vanity and often its how someone comes across in others eyes. There and again jealousy of the _iewer can also be a contributing facto to how they see people and misinterpreting confidence as vanity.

Has no one ever stood in front of the mirror at some point and did say to yourself today I look great and yes I am hot when needed. That I don't see as vanity for me that is self confidents and self acceptance well it's only my opionion.

I know that how I look isn't for everyone but I also know that I am the best looking me there is so fuck them all haha.

I think it is easy for some to confuse the confidence and self worth of others with vanity when in fact that is often not the case.

I am confident of my ability in some areas and aware of my lack of ability in others.

Physically, I recognise I have assets that some will find attractive and others won't.

I think it is easy for some to confuse the confidence and self worth of others with vanity when in fact that is often not the case.

I am confident of my ability in some areas and aware of my lack of ability in others.

Physically, I recognise I have assets that some will find attractive and others won't.

yes vanity is an unattractive quality.

You can be self confident without being narcissistic. An element of humility is a good quality.

I feel reasonably good about myself, some days better than others. But I also know that I'm not everyone's cup of tea and there are areas for self improvement.

We all get nice comments everyday, noone is going to message you and say wow what a munter you are do you fancy a shag.

If i get lots of compliments im sure there are many women that get far more. Just cause someone doest quote comments and splash them over there profile i wouldnt assume they hadnt had those comments i would assume they are showing a bit of humility

To me vanity is about being self obsessed and wanting others to agree with a high opinion of yourself. Self-confidence is about being happy with yourself and not worrying what anyone else's opinion is.

I agree with you there I do not care what people say about me as if I care I am extremely happy with myself and for the first time in a very very long time I have accepted myself and love myself. If you don't know somebody and what they have been through you would not know if they vain arrogant self confident and so forth.

Yes I have met people that is vain and after spending lots of time with and even became good friends they are still vain and I can tell them you so vain baby you make me look good hehehehehe

Well I wasn't just on about here but yeh people dont really have a reason from some angles but so many do. There are a lot of frustrated people on here who don't get what they want so they get a bit green.

Anybody could be, certainly, but on here the single guys do tend to get fewer meets than women and couples and are more frustrated. In general, not in every case.
