OP I know you posted this with all good intentions but recently they have been many people struggling and feeling very left out and’s ignored.

Today is world mental health day and the focus is on the unequal world that we live in.

I’m just finding this post a little insensitive today of all days when we should be celebrating that’s is ok not to be ok, to let people know that they have support, that’s it’s ok to be who they are and different rather than being left out of a popularity contest.

He went in that shed and is being held hostage by the hedgehog. He’s waiting for the neighbourhood cats to have a whip-round and fork out for a tin of whiskas as apparently Kitekat gives hedgehogs wind (who knew?!).

But apparently in Devonshire cats are really tight and begrudge forking out money. So he may be gone for a bit.

That’s what I like to think has happened to him. But I don’t know really.

Exactly! Every bloody day there’s top forumites (hate that word) list with the same bloody names on (or some other list with the same people on it!). I personally couldn’t care less but I do agree with the posters above about it possibly making others feel bad. I’d hate to think that people felt left out as the forums are cliquey enough without these childish popularity lists.

It’s like the lists we used to make at school with the popular kids names on haha

It's just a bit of fun everyone is lovely xx

I’m sure it is meant that way. I personally find them very repetitive and dull so usually swerve them (not sure why this one caught my eye) but I do think they can make some people feel bad and left out.

I’ve never seen an online forum as cliquey and some struggle to get involved which is sad.

I genuinely feel sorry for people who need these kind of lists to feel appreciated and liked. It's not good to seek that approval from strangers online.

I'm rarely mentioned in the forums and I really couldn't give a shit. And I don't know why people get so irritated about this kind of thing. It's not like this list is the real deal. It's just a bit of harmless banter, between people who get on mostly.

I think all of us bring something unique to the forums. And this silly thread doesn't need to be thought about so deeply. It doesn't mean everyone else is a worthless loser like so many people make out.
