Does anyone feel like they fantasise of falling in love with someone you see at a cafe or in the tube or at Waterstones or at the gym?

It used to happen to be ALL THE TIME, and I’d find new future husbands on the tube and have a rendez vous in my head. Sliding door style

I definitely fell at first sigh for the most beautiful man French man (don’t tell JACK!!!) I’ve ever seen in my life in a boulangerie in Paris by Canal Saint-Martin

In my head I’d have moved to Paris near Montmatre, and he’d buy me pain au raisins every morning till he’d propose to me with a box of macarons and a Tiffany ring inside… and I’d have said OUI! And we’d have lived the wildest love story.

I still think of that sometimes

Am I the only crazy bitch round here who has these very weird thoughts ?

I don’t think that you are!

I’ve only recently said to someone how the desire to meet a person and settle down are seen as negatives on here at times, but it’s a natural part of human existence and fantasising about it just shows where you’re at in your head.

Unless you’re completely sworn off love and relationships (as some are) I think that it’s a normal thing, it certainly has been for me in the past

Waking up on a Sunday morning, she’s wearing something slightly see through and carrying a tray with fruit juice, fresh coffee and an array of breakfast muffins and danish. I definitely do, I'll build up a whole story and life in my head over seeing random hot strangers so you're not alone there!

A big part of me would love someone to be in love with me and treat me well, I do feel like I deserve it, I was only in one ltr from age 17 and I fell out of love with him many years ago but he was abusive and I didn't have the courage to leave until he got violent in front of our little one two years ago. I've been single since. I often look at happy smitten couples and think I'd love someone to love me like that.

My problem is I get feels for the wrong guys, the 'good looking and they know it so they use me and treat me shit' guys! I've only had feels for one guy since splitting with ex, and he hasn't treated me very well because he knows I care about him so he picks me up and uses me then blanks me for ages. Ridiculous but I can't stay away from him so I know I have no one to blame but myself!
