"I had a Brie which was just getting to that point where you could eat it with a spoon... And the Ex wife put it in the fridge... . Definitely a good reason for divorce, as it is sacrilege!

"Quince jelly is a favourite of mine, especially with soft cheeses. " Do you make your own? I haven't tried that yet. It's chutney making time for me but I can't stand the stuff.

"Quince jelly is a favourite of mine, especially with soft cheeses. Do you make your own? I haven't tried that yet. It's chutney making time for me but I can't stand the stuff." I have a lovely cheesemonger in St. Andrews where I usually buy it but discovered a pack of it in the Co-Op last week. I look forward to my daughters home-made picallili (sp) and apricot chutney as a christmas present. She may not have a lot of dosh to lash out but her presents are so much more appreciated when made with love. xx

A thoughtful made present trumps anything shop bought (unless it's diamonds).
