Hi all,

Just got a ban for replying to a message and it seems because I used the word snap in the message I'm banned for saying another website?! Any idea how I can have this reviewed?

It's the message you get when you use a banned word - the ban lifts after a few hours. No, I don't know what you used - there isn't a published list. You often have to guess.

It is so annoying that certain words are banned. There should be a list made up so we are all aware what words to avoid.

All banned words are beyond ridiculous and are not about making anything better. Control and conformity is never a good way to go and as history shows always end in a downfall, wether that be for the people or system doing the enforcing.

I got a 24 hour ban in the week. We are all adults here, it’s pretty stupid having banned words on an adult site

It would surprise me, if some of the words are being caught by a moderation system that isn't determining the language of the person posting.

I've had some odd words censored. Doesn't really bother me tbh

For clarity, he isn't talking about a forum/ chat/ site ban, he is talking about a block in mails. It isn't a ban

For future reference, your complaint about Admin should be sent to them from the contact link as doing it on the forum does result in a forum ban which I am sure you won't want

That is a different type of block, posting links that are not allowed on the forum is against forum rules

For info, some words/ phrases/links are blocked from being sent in mail. A lot of the time it is designed to keep us all from being spammed to death by spammers.

The block will lift after a couple of hours
