Yes. Only a couple of weeks (which is normal) but a very interesting experience. I was foreperson and we found the person not guilty.

I've been called twice but the last one I was due to do during lockdown so it was cancelled... Its not as exciting as you think, a lot of waiting around in a room with strangers waiting to be called

I haven't done it but I wouldn't mind it but I guess it depends on the case. I'm not sure I could do it anyway as I remember reading something about being excused if you have bad mental health.

I haven't, but my lad has. He had to attend the full two weeks and ended up being the jury spokesperson....Found the guy guilty...

They wouldn't let my boy leave the court with everyone else and had a police escort to his car because the family of the accused were known to the police and had proven to be not very nice people

Did it once first three days r ape case rightfully thrown out by judge shocking it was even brought to court .a week sat around reading books then a drug dealer found guilty .police evidence realy poorly presented and flimsy but enough to convict learned a lot about drug paraphernalia. On the whole found many of my fellow jurors to be a bit nieve gullible not very worldy wise some as thick as mince believe everything you read in the daily mail types .one woman wanted to convict the accused in the r=ape case cos he looked a wrong un ffs !
