What w morning !

So I’ve just had a phone call from a young Portuguese lady who I met while out here working ….(thought she was the sweetest most loveliest person )

Yesterday she called in some distress … I said you know I’m here if you want to talk …. If I can help I’ll do my best to ….

Anyways today’s call she tells be she’s 3 weeks behind on her rent …. And asked if I could help

I’ve known this lady maybe 2 months seen her in person a handful of times ….

I said I can give her half if that’d help just till she gets some cash from jobs

Knowing I probably wouldn’t see the money again

Wow the replies I’ve received

Let’s just say ….

Showed her true colours

I’m done with people

Get me a big farm with 5 dogs ,

Few cows

Few sheep and

4 pigs

And some chickens …. Don’t forget the chickens

Firstly good on you for offering even half. She should have been grateful but some people are just never happy.

The smallholding lifestyle is absolutely brilliant. Trust me as I'm currently living it. Although the caravan bit can suck sometimes lol.

Honestly though there are a few gid uns out there. Your pretty clearly a decent hooman bean so chin up bud

Keep it to a fantasy! The reality is hard work, upsetting at times and expensive!

Hey, don't let this one person knock you mate! It seems to me you are nice fella and obviously have bags of empathy and you can spot a fake.

All in all, top work and carry on as you are, the right person will come along and want you and those diamond traits for the right reasons

It was clear from the outset there would be no happy ending to this tale.

Perhaps think more carefully before offering to lend a practical stranger money in future
