What do you think the average is on here? 1 in 10? 2 in 10? And what is the motivation do you think? Gay men trying to get dick pics off of straight men? Trolling? Or just general loneliness? Either way I think verification should be stricter.

A quick forum Search will show some people (mostly men) will agree with you.

But most people know it makes no difference and to be honest, with enough understanding you spot the fakes pretty easily.

As for fakes, are you thinking men as women or just someone who pretends to be interested in meeting, when they probably never have any intentions of meeting anyone etc?

Most of it has to be acquired from expertise and refining how you filter. If you just meet in clubs, only those who have veris, only longer established profiles, not sending wank fodder, you can reduce the pointless pursuits a lot.
