Mine is also a tough armour type. And its related to my personality... of being a clumsy twat who drops his phone so much that unless the case is armoured then the phone is constantly smashed!

Because during lockdown mine took the place of a handbag. It holds bank card etc… and protects my phone a bit more when I drop it

I had one like that before I wad 40.

It also acted like a wallet and carried notes and my cards.

Since I hit 40 I've not had one a Google Pay has replaced my cards.
