Thank god we don’t live in US then! I couldn’t live somewhere with different laws in different states.

In the UK the only ground for divorce is irretrievable breakdown of the marriage for 1 (or more) of 5 reasons.

A lot of Pakistani, Indian, etc marriages are still 'arranged' and more often than not the couple don't meet before but its changing for indians as many do meet/date after introduction but the vast majority wont have interecourse before the wedding.
