Greta Thunberg is on the autistic spectrum. What the OP is interpreting as "a face like a smacked arse" or "look[ing] like she swallowed a wasp" is probably the "flat affect" common to autistic and other neurodiverse people. It's one of the reasons why neurotypical people so strongly dislike autistic people *on sight* – see the 2017 paper 'Neurotypical Peers are Less Willing to Interact with Those with Autism based on Thin Slice Judgments' by Sasson, Faso, Nugent et al.

So yes, this thread is ableist as well as misogynistic. Good work Fab!

OP, this really is a sad fail of a thread...

You asked some questions about how Greta travels and her impact. And I could tell you that she always tries to choose the most environmentally mode of travel, if she can, even if it means longer travel time.

I could tell you how she started on her own, as a child, with weekly school strikes to raise awareness and she inspired a global movement.

And yes, as others have said, she is on the spectrum.

But all of this is irrelevant because it really boils down to that it is just a misogynistic comment to tell a woman, any woman, to smile more.
